{Canon} For the most part, Hikari's life has been driven by one goal; to beat Takishima Kei, no matter what! Ever since she lost to him at wrestling when she was six years old, Hikari has made Kei her one true rival, and has striven to beat him in academics, sports, games, combat, anything at all. Unfortunately, she has had little success, despite all her relentless efforts. She's so determined to beat him, she even persuaded her father to let her go to the same elite private schools, despite the expensive tuition fees. Presently, she is attending the best high school in the prefecture, Hakusen Academy, ranked two in the Special A Class just under Kei, much to her displeasure.While spending most of her time challenging Takishima to contests whenever she can, she is completely oblivious to the fact that Kei is actually in love with her, and has been since childhood. Throughout their adventures, some mistaken kisses and hijinks, she grew to love Kei back, but while he promised her he would stay with her and be her rival, Kei has jetted off to London without a goodbye, in order to protect the S.A his friends love from his grandfather's manipulating ways. As Hikari chases after his plane in vain, tears in her eyes, she fears now what her future may hold without her one true rival, and one true love. {Poly} On arrival in the City, Hikari took a lot of convincing from Kaoru and Shiki that she was in fact not in her world anymore. But of course, after the initial shock wore off and worry about missing school, Hikari set about in making sure she would work hard while away, so she was ready to challenge Takishima whenever she saw him again. She has worked hard in trying to keep up with her studies, training, and activities with her new City friends, even going so far as to build an obstacle course to motivate the citizens to work hard. No matter what the effect of curses or harships, she rolls with the punches, and doesn't seem to mind so much what's going on. The adventure has just started, and Hikari is looking forward to every minute of it! |
